The Choin Chess Set pairs hand-carved hornbeam pieces with an integrated inlaid beech and birch board. Each piece emerges from solid wood through careful hand-shaping, the Choin design's rounded silhouette giving the set an organic, sculptural presence. The natural colour contrast between light and dark hornbeam creates visual depth across the board.
Built for players who demand both aesthetic refinement and functional precision. The generous proportions accommodate serious tournament play without sacrificing the craftsmanship that makes this set a display-worthy investment. The unified board-and-pieces design means this set arrives complete–no assembly, no compromises.
Specifications: King height 125mm • Board 50mm field • Material: Hand-carved hornbeam with inlaid beech and birch board • Integrated set (board included)
