The Oak Carved Chess Set is a large, hand-carved set made entirely from solid oak – a timber chosen for its strength, grain character, and long tradition in fine woodworking. King height 150 mm, 68 mm field: a truly substantial set with a commanding presence.

Deep relief carving defines the chessmen, with each piece bearing surface detail that rewards close inspection. The oak's open grain takes the carving particularly well, creating deep shadows in the decorated surfaces and a finish that improves with age and handling. Board and pieces share the same timber family, creating a unified aesthetic.

Available in natural and ebonised finishes. A significant artisan piece for serious collectors.
