The MAGNAT magnetic chess set combines handcrafted wooden pieces with a precision-engineered playing surface. Pieces are turned from oak, sycamore, and cherry–three contrasting woods that define form through material. The 55×55cm board folds for transport, with alphanumeric notation etched along bright edges for tournament reference.
This set performs at club and casual competitive level. The magnetic base holds pieces firmly during play, eliminating accidental displacement on travel or during analysis. The scale suits serious players who want readable piece form and board territory without oversized display proportions.
Specifications: Board: 55cm field / Folding magnetic board with notation • Material: Oak, sycamore, cherry pieces • Magnetic base system • Tournament-grade
