The Indian Inlaid Chess Set builds on the Indian Chess Set design with the addition of an inlaid board – alternating hardwood fields individually fitted and finished to create a richer, more intricate surface. Hand-carved hornbeam pieces, 120 mm king, 52 mm field.
The combination of inlaid board and Indian-inspired carved pieces creates a set with layered visual interest: every surface, from the decorated chessmen to the fitted board fields, carries evidence of skilled hand-work. This is a set that improves on close inspection.
An excellent choice for players who want the most craftsmanship possible in an integrated set.
