The Debut Chess Set commands attention through scale and material. At 120 mm, the king rises as a sculptural statement in cherry wood–a timber prized for its warm reddish tone and fine grain structure. Clean, confident proportions define each piece; differentiation is immediate and unmistakable. Cherry deepens with light exposure, transforming the set's character over years of play.
This is a set for players who understand that chess demands presence. The 50 mm field accommodates the proportions without compromise; pieces move with authority across the board. The Debut suits players who value material honesty and design clarity.
