Choose your preferred dimensions based on the size of your chess pieces. A 38mm square typically suits Staunton pieces with a 3.5-inch king, whilst larger squares up to 58mm work well with pieces featuring kings up to 4.5 inches or more. You can also select whether you prefer the board with or without alphanumeric border notation, depending on your playing style and aesthetic preference.
