The Chain Chess Set is an artisan set where the board's decorative border incorporates a distinctive chain-link inlay motif – a handcrafted detail that sets it apart from standard inlaid boards. Hornbeam pieces, 100 mm king, 50 mm field.
The chain border is executed in contrasting wood species, with each link individually fitted and finished flush with the board surface. It's a detail that takes time and skill to produce, and the result is a board with genuine character. The hornbeam chessmen are turned and finished to a matching quality level.
A set where the craftsmanship is the point.
