The Artisan Tournament Chess Set is a hand-finished hornbeam set built for everyday competitive play. Each piece is carefully turned and finished by hand, with felt bases and an honest weight that makes them comfortable to handle over long sessions. The inlaid board is flat, stable, and dimensionally consistent. No unnecessary embellishment – just well-made equipment built to be used. This configuration features a 70mm king on a 30mm field – the most compact size in the range, suited to travel, smaller tables, and club use where space is limited.
